Safeguarding and Child Protection
Walmley Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with responsibility for Child Protection is Mrs Karen Conway (in her absence the Deputy DSL is Mr Stuart Pearson). We recognise that some children may be the victims of neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse and all staff are well placed to identify such abuse and respond quickly and effectively. If you do have a concern about a child’s well-being, please report this to Mrs Conway or Mr Pearson; any member of staff as an initial point of contact.
