Year 4 – Whitemoor Lakes, Staffordshire
Year 4 get their first taste of a residential trip with a 2 night stay at the wonderful Whitemoor Lakes in Staffordshire. Children get to take on challenges, such as a tall climbing wall, zip line and archery. Being away from home for a brief time encourages the children to develop their independence with the help of their friends and instructors. The trip is always concluded with a warm campfire and yummy hot chocolate!
Year 5 – Outward Bound, Ullswater
Year 5 pupils have the opportunity to further develop their outdoor adventure skills in the beautiful setting of the Lake District. They will get to explore Lake Ullswater whilst canoeing, gorge walking and even ‘mountain climbing’. Spending five days developing their resilience and independence whilst having fun with their friends makes this experience one they will never forget!
Year 6 – Le Touquet, France
We have organised a trip to France for Year 6 pupils for over 30 years! They can practise some of their French language skills and have a wonderful insight into French culture and history. We visit a café, bakery, market, Sea Life centre and World War II site, and enjoy playing on the fabulous sandy beaches. This residential trip is a fantastic opportunity to broaden their horizons and experience life in another country. A memory to last a lifetime!
