Wellbeing
Pupil and staff wellbeing is of utmost importance to us in school. Staff work closely with our pupils and their families to offer support wherever possible. We are proactive in promoting good mental health and this is covered regularly in our PSHE curriculum, as well as assemblies and dedicated weeks such as Children’s Mental Health Week. We are also able to offer support through signposting, making referrals and working alongside other professionals when a need is identified.
In addition, we are able to offer emotional support for pupils in school and make referrals to one of our two school counsellors who are experienced with dealing with issues from bereavement to low self-esteem.
